Collection: CBG Flower

CBG Flower — Rare By Nature

Two cuts, both CBG, both non-intoxicating, both lab tested. That's the whole shelf and we're not padding it out to look impressive. CBG-dominant flower is genuinely hard to come by — not because it's trendy and sold out, but because the plant fights you on producing it.

Nothing Here Will Get You High

Every product on this page is non-intoxicating. No exceptions, no fine print, no surprise jar buried at the bottom. If you want the terps, the ritual and the nose without the head change, this shelf is entirely that. If you're after a buzz, you're on the wrong page — go find the infused shelf instead.

Here's why the shelf is small. CBGA is the first cannabinoid the plant builds, and THCA, CBDA and CBCA are all made out of it as the plant matures. Everything you've heard of started as this molecule. So getting a CBG-dominant harvest means cutting early or growing a cultivar bred so the conversion never finishes — either way you're working against the plant's own chemistry and the yield comes out lower. Most farms don't bother. That's the whole reason CBG costs what it costs and why almost nobody stocks it properly.

And we're not going to tell you what it does for you. CBG is meaningfully less researched than CBD — there's early work, nothing that justifies a claim. Anyone promising outcomes is selling a story, not a cannabinoid. We'll tell you what's in the jar and what the lab said. That's where it ends.

The CBG Cuts

Both non-intoxicating. Compliant delta-9, third-party tested, COA on request.

Sour G

CBG-Dominant Flower · Sour / Bright / Sharp · 1G–28G

A properly CBG-dominant cut — not CBD flower with a splash of CBG showing on the panel, which is what most stores pass off as CBG. Sour, bright, sharp on the nose, cleanly grown and hand trimmed. The oddball of our entire flower catalog and one of the few real CBG cuts you'll find anywhere. Sampler gram up to a full ounce.

Bubba Kush Terped w/ CBG Kief

CBD Flower Base + CBG Kief · Kush / Earth / Coffee · 1G–14G

Bubba Kush terped and rolled in CBG kief — heavy earth and coffee underneath, aroma cranked way the hell up on top. That kief is CBG, not THC, so this stays fully non-intoxicating. Best jar on the site if you want to taste what CBG does to a familiar profile.

Questions People Actually Ask

Will CBG flower get me high?

No. CBG is non-intoxicating — it doesn't produce a high, same as CBD. Every product on this page is CBG and every one of them is non-intoxicating. There's nothing on this shelf that'll surprise you.

Why is CBG called the mother cannabinoid?

Because everything descends from it. CBGA is the precursor the plant synthesises first, and THCA, CBDA and CBCA are all built out of it. Every cannabinoid you've heard of started life as this molecule. That's not marketing language — it's the actual biosynthesis pathway.

Why is CBG flower so hard to find?

Because the plant converts most of its CBGA into other cannabinoids on the way to maturity. A CBG-dominant harvest means cutting early or growing a cultivar bred so conversion doesn't complete — you're fighting the plant's chemistry either way, and yields come out lower. Fewer farms take it on. Small shelf, honest reason.

How is this different from CBD flower?

CBD is one of the cannabinoids CBGA converts into — CBG is the parent, CBD is the offspring. Both non-intoxicating, both legal hemp derivatives, different molecules. On the nose, CBG cuts tend to run sharper and more sour while CBD cuts run sweeter and heavier. Grab a gram of each and decide for yourself.

What does CBG actually do?

We don't know, and neither does anyone else with any certainty. CBG is substantially less studied than CBD — there's early research, nothing that supports a claim. Anybody telling you what it'll do for your body is telling you a story. It's a non-intoxicating cannabinoid in good flower. That's what we'll stand behind and nothing more.

What's kief, and does CBG kief change the effect?

Kief is sifted trichome heads shaken off the plant — concentrated aroma and cannabinoid content. On the Terped Bubba the kief is CBG, not THC, so the product stays non-intoxicating. What it does change is the nose: kief-dusted flower hits considerably harder on aroma and burns a little slower.

Will CBG flower fail a drug test?

It can. CBG itself isn't what screens look for, but the hemp base still carries trace delta-9 THC, and tests detect THC metabolites without caring where they came from. Don't assume "non-intoxicating" means "safe to test on." If you're tested at work, especially zero-tolerance, skip it. Nobody honest will certify an outcome for you.

Is CBG flower legal?

Federally yes — hemp is Cannabis sativa L. at or under 0.3% delta-9 THC dry weight under the 2018 Farm Bill, and CBG is one of its derivatives. Some states restrict smokable hemp flower specifically, regardless of which cannabinoid dominates. Check your own state before you order. That part's on you, not us.

Why does it smell and look like weed?

Because it's the same plant species. Cannabis sativa L.the delta-9 threshold is the only legal distinction. Same structure, same trichomes, same terpene chemistry. Which also means nobody can tell it apart by sight or smell in the field. Worth knowing before you spark one somewhere awkward.

Which one should I start with?

Sour G at 1 gram if you want to know what CBG actually tastes like on its own — eight bucks to find out, no commitment. Go for the Terped Bubba if you already know you like kush profiles and want the CBG layered over something familiar. Both come in single grams for exactly this reason.

How do I store it?

Airtight glass, cool, dark, nowhere near a window or a hot car. Heat and light strip terpenes faster than anything else — and on flower you're buying for the nose and the rarity, a stale jar is money in the bin. Buying the ounce? Split it into smaller jars so you're not airing out the whole stash every time you open it.
