What is Cannabicyclolic acid (CBLA)?
A minor cannabicyclol-type cannabinoid formed from CBC through light exposure. Rarely studied.
What is Cannabicyclol (CBL)?
Non-psychoactive degradation product of CBC, formed by exposure to light. Minimal research available.
What is Cannabichromene (CBC)?
Non-intoxicating major cannabinoid. Interacts with TRPV1 and TRPA1 receptors. Shows promise for anti-inflammatory, antidepressant, and neuroprotective effects.
What is Cannabichromenic acid (CBCA)?
Acidic form of CBC, naturally present in fresh plant material.
What is Cannabidiol (CBD)?
Non-psychoactive, widely researched for anxiety, pain, inflammation, seizures, and general wellness. Legal in industrial hemp (<0.3% THC).
What is Cannabidiolic acid (CBDA)?
Raw acidic form of CBD. Shows promise for anti-nausea and anti-inflammatory effects.
What is Cannabidivarin (CBDV)?
Propyl variant of CBD, being studied for seizure disorders and autism spectrum therapies.
What is Cannabigerol (CBG)?
“Mother cannabinoid” — precursor to THC, CBD, CBC. Non-psychoactive, strong anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and neuroprotective potential.
What is Cannabinol (CBN)?
Mildly psychoactive degradation product of THC. Known for sedative effects and sleep support.
What is Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9-THC)?
Primary psychoactive compound. In industrial hemp kept <0.3% to stay federally legal.
What is Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA)?
Non-psychoactive raw form of THC. Converts to THC when heated (decarboxylated).
What is Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV)?
Propyl variant of THC — energizing in low doses, appetite-suppressing, studied for diabetes management.
What is Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabiphorol (THCP)?
Discovered 2019 — 7-carbon side chain makes it potentially 30× more potent than THC at CB1 receptors.
What is Delta-8-Tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ8-THC)?
Milder psychoactive isomer of Δ9-THC, naturally occurring in trace amounts.
